I got two book parcels in the mail today which almost made me squeal with pleasure (almost - I was at work after all!)
The first was Catherine Fisher's Incarceron

I also got a signed copy of the ARC of Linda Buckley-Archer's The Tar Man
Right now I'm finishing up Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson and the Titan's Curse
Oh, I'm so jealous on both counts! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteEnvying you The Tar Man. And like you, I quite enjoyed The Titan's Curse. Congratulations on your book parcels.
ReplyDeleteThat gnashing sound you hear is my teeth here in Texas, gnashing in jealousy over The Tar Man!!
ReplyDeleteOh I like that I'm making people jealous for once, instead of being the jealous one... (I'm so cruel and hard-hearted !)
ReplyDeleteWith a signed ARC for The Tar Man arriving the same day, I'm impressed you even noticed any other books! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm joining those from the other side of the Pond in the jealousy over The Tar Man, and looking forward to hearing how it is.
Ah well, Lady_S, I'm very good at noticing things, and especially books !!
ReplyDeleteI'm reading Incarceron right now (and very intrigued) - I'm deferring the pleasure of The Tar Man a little longer - which of course means you'll all have to wait a little longer for the review (does this constitute cruel and unusual punishment, I wonder ?)
Well... The quicker the review comes, the shorter time we've to wait for that, but then the longer the wait time for the book after your review. So the punishment is cruel either way but I'm not sure how to weigh the unusualness of each of the types of cruelty. :)
ReplyDelete*sniggers*
ReplyDeleteSo jealous for The Tar Man...! Very cool for you, though.
ReplyDeleteVery cool indeed !
