Lyn is a neighbour and a friend of mine -- she is writing a sequel but it won't be out until 2008 she says, becuase David Fickling publishes only a few books. She says she'll probably move on to writing about something else after that -- but for children.<br /><br />I attended a reading group last weekend hosted by Lyn -- you had to read the book to go there, so I read it in time to accompany my younger daughter. I liked the book - very readable and fast-paced, a clever pastiche of fairy stories, movies and children's books, plus classical theatre and mythology.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
