My Blog's Reading Level

I snagged this from Liz over at A Chair, A Fireplace and a Tea Cozy. Allegedly

cash advance

I have NO idea how they work this out but it seems a little - unlikely, shall we say?!

Wow, that's the first genius I've seen!

All I can think is that the script looks at keywords on the main page of the Blog - and all those Shakespeare and poetry references have convinced the script that you'd need to be a genius to read it, when in fact, anyone can !

I got a genius too :)

I also think it's the poetry!! (Even though I DO think you're a genius, Michele.)

Ha, thanks Kelly ! But that's not really the question - the question is do you have to be a genius to read my Blog and the answer's a resounding No !

That's very impressive! I wonder how it works. There used to be (and it may still be there) a feature in Word that would give you a grade level for your writing, but I was never able to figure out how that worked either. Sentence length? Word length? In any event, I've seen a few of these, but never one at genius.

Thanks Mai!

The Word feature still exists and I resolutely ignore it since it's geared to American schools... It's based on average sentence length and average number of syallables in a word...

LOL. I always knew you were a genius. This just confirms it!

I got genius level too, I haven't a clue as to why.

I'd love to know what the result is based on...
